A small glass pavilion for contemporary art is located between the Collider multimedia platform and the gates of the ancient Alexander Monastery, surrounded by the architecture and nature of Suzdal, which are reflected in its walls.
The name refers to the shape: the Aquarium is a glass cube in the open air. Inside is an object of contemporary Russian art. The transparency of the walls erases the boundary between the exhibit, the viewer, and the city, making the artwork a part of the environment and revealing previously unnoticed aspects of the city.
