Fortunately, the Orekhovo estate survives to his day in its unique integrity. The garden lies on the same site as with the very first owners, the park has perfectly preserved its original layout with all its clearly visible alleys in the shades of which the renovated 'ancient' gazebos can be seen.

The museum utilizes some new nonconventional forms of interaction with its guests. For example, guests can come to the estate for a Russian Wedding programme, have a photo session with friends inside the house or in the estate premises, listen to the marvellous music of the old piano, play the game of catch on the Holy Trinity, taste pancakes during the Maslenitsa, have their fortune told on the Epiphany Day, and spend the New Year holidays with Ded Moroz, Snegurochka and other fairy-tale characters. In the estate tourists will learn about folk festivals, secular holidays and church fetes, and will be told their fortune depending on the Zodiac sign. One can also visit the theatre and watch A.P. Chekhov's Bear performed by professional actors.
