Ethnographic Park-Museum "Russian Island". The museum, located in an ethnographic park surrounded by a pine forest 10 km from Pokrov, covers all aspects of village life, from the era of archaic subsistence farming to the beginning of capitalist relations in rural areas.

The museum is thematically divided into several dozen exhibitions, including: 

- Peasant residential and economic wooden architecture, represented by authentic transported objects from the 19th century, construction technologies, house decorations (including about 100 window frames from different regions and carpentry schools), - interior of the izba, peasant furniture.
- Horse-drawn vehicles.
- History of agriculture - tools and technologies for processing grain crops, evolution of agricultural tools, mechanisms from the early 20th century.
- Beekeeping - from beekeeping to a collapsible beehive.
- Feeding - technologies, harvesting tools, grinding mechanisms and tools.
- History of lighting devices.
- Lighting of a peasant house.
- Raising children.
- Woodworking, carpentry.
- Blacksmithing - a working forge.
- Pottery and glass-making.
- Hunting - technologies, hunting tools, making of traps, hunting buildings.
- Fishing - technologies, tackle, traditional boats.
- Brewery - traditions of brewing in the Russian North.
- Production of clothing and footwear - wool beating and felt-making, flax processing, spinning and weaving.
- Folk costume - about 60 authentic costumes from different regions.
- Peasant art - a collection of household decor items, artistic spinning wheels and flax processing tools (more than 200 items with carvings and paintings), and household paintings from the Russian North.
- History of religion in Russia - Moscow Orthodoxy, village dualism - folk worldview - remnants of paganism - village sorcerers - church schism - Old Believers, the Synodal period, and religious persecution in the USSR. 

The 20th century - the empire on the eve of upheavals, the village in the conditions of social cataclysms of the first half of the century, collective farm life, the exposition "nostalgia" - a collection of household items of the era of "developed socialism".

The exposition was collected during numerous village expeditions from the White to the Black Sea and from Belarus to the Urals over a period of 20 years, in communication with the older generation, with the recording of testimonies, which allows us to present history - through the eyes of an ordinary person.
