St. Catherine's Cathedral
The stone cathedral was built in the early 19th century. It was one of the largest churches in the province (the cathedral could accommodate up to 5,000 people). During the Soviet years, part of the temple was blown up, and the rest was converted into a Cultural center. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, the cathedral was restored.
