Rock-climbing
Dukinsky quarries are a picturesque place in the Vladimir region with an unusual rocky topography. Here, everyone can test their strength, agility, and physical endurance.
After conquering the Dukinsky “mountains”, you can feel like a real rock climber. The height of the quarries is about 12–15 meters.
The routes vary in difficulty. Not only can everyone practice their skills, but they also can, admire the incredibly beautiful surroundings when reaching the top, because the quarries are located in a reserve with several species of orchids growing, including the lady's slipper, which is a critically endangered species.
And, having descended to the bottom of one of the quarries, travellers can examine the fossils of molluscs that are millions of years old.
